Poker Night
Results: Friday night, February 10th, the Men's Club held the 1st Annual Poker night. We had 37 players and we paid out prizes to the top 7 finishers. The results were:

7th Place Jack Morgan $50

6th Place Jack Wooley $75

5th Place Jim Podulka $100

4th Place Mike Klemke $150

3rd Place Bill Murphy $175

2nd Place Larry Pecorella $325

1st Place Chuck Wagner $625

Special thanks goes out to Dick Manske, Steve Forgette, Ken Houdek, Ken Petersen, George Silca, and Ed Burda for all the help they porvided prior to the event and the night of the event.

Format: The cost will be $50 for those who wish to play cards ($40 for the poker pot and $10 for food). All those who don't wish to play cards but want to enjoy the camaraderie of the club are welcome to join us for food for the $10 fee. There will be a cash bar for both players and socializers. This should be a really fun night so we really hope you can make it!

 The dealer will select which game he wants to play from the following : 5 Card Stud, 5 Card Draw, 7Card Stud, or Texas Hold'em. There will not be any additional buy-ins available. Each player will start with $100 in chips and play will continue until a Champion is crowned. Check in will begin at 6:00PM and the first cards will be dealt promptly at 7:00PM. If you are playing cards and arrive late for the first deal we hope you bring a big appetite because we won't be able to deal you in as that would not be fair to the other players in the tournament.

 Our goal is to pay out the top 10% of the field. Therefore if there is 50 people playing the payout would go to the final 5. If there were 80 people playing payouts would go to the final 8. In either case the winner would get close to 50% of the pot. 

 In order to properly prepare for the event, those wishing to either play or just stop by for the food and drinks need to send a check made out to the Glenview Men's Golf Club to:
